Dieses Modell, auch Hoehlenforscherleiter genannt, ist das meistverkaufte für allgemeine Anwendungen. Es MUSS am Anschlussende mit einem Y-Spreizer angeschlossen werden. Eine Verbindung / Verlängerung von z.B. 2 x 10 - Meter Teilen durch Edelstahl-Maillons (Karabiner) ist möglich. Verschiedene andere Ausführungen (verzinkter Draht, Edelstahl-Draht, beschichtete/unbehandelte Sprossen) sind möglich. Für professionelle Anwendung sollte mindestens 4mm galvanisierter Stahldraht (Bruchlast je Leiter - Seite 1000kg) verwendet werden. Empfohlener
Sprossenabstand 25 cm. Für VBSS Ladders wird, wegen geringerem

Spacing the rungs at 300mm makes the ladder lighter and slightly cheaper, however this also makes the ladder much harder to climb, especially for smaller people. This is because the spacing is much less friendly for the hands.
By using the thinner 3mm,
galvanised steel wire rope sides (600kg BL) produce a ladder that is very
light and relatively inexpensive. These ladders are not as durable as
those using the 4mm wire and are only recommended for occasional use.
These ladders are made with the same spacing options as the 4mm version.
Corrosion resistant – Code LO54
This ladder
is recommended for use in water, especially seawater. For this we hard
anodise the rungs after all the machining has been done to totally seal
the alloy. We would usually anodise the rungs with a matt black finish
to allow use of these ladders for covert operations.
Sides are of 4mm diameter 316 grade stainless steel wire rope (1,000BL).
Please note that corrosion resistant ladders are only made with ‘C’ link
or plain eye end terminations. This is because Maillon Rapide links are
plated steel and therefore subject to corrosion.As these ladders are made
to order you need to supply the length you require and whether you want
250mm or 300mm rung spacing. As the price list only gives price per rung,
you need to work out how many rungs are needed in your ladder.
As a guide there are 40 rungs in a 10m ladder with a rung spacing of 250mm.
There are 34 rungs in a 10m ladder with a rung spacing of 300mm.

Moderne Leitern dieser Art bestehen aus galvanisiertem oder Edelstahldraht
mit glasfaserverstärkten Sprossen.
These
ladders are easier to climb for inexperienced users and are better for
working on than the standard rung ladders.
This is because both feet can be placed on the ladder at the same time
and larger rungs are more comfortable to stand on for long periods of
time.
This makes this type of ladder better for industrial uses such as cleaning,
inspection and vessel entry.

There are three options for the sides.
As these ladders
are rarely joined together we make them with a 300mm extended header to
allow easier rigging to a single anchor. The end terminations are usually
plain eyesplices, although we can fit Maillon Rapides to the LO8G version.
