Magnet - Anker doppelt Typ OT-MA2 Versorgungsnummer / NSN 4224-99-976-0902

The double magnet provides a secure attachment point for a diver working on a ships hull in a current.
The diver can attach themselves or equipment to the magnet anchor point, to prevent them drifting away
from the target. The handle allows for easy removal from the vessel when required. Attachment point
allows more than one connector to be fastened at once. The hole in the handle is for a securing
lanyard, to prevent the magnet being lost at sea.
The 316 Stainless Steel handle and specially developed Samarium–cobalt magnets have a strong
resistance to corrosion and oxidation resistance. This prevents the magnets from corroding after use in
salt water conditions. The magnets can be used in high temperatures and poor working conditions.
