Presensitized positive-working plate

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS :

Positive-working offset plate with electrochemically grained anodized base
High sensitivity brilliant green-colored diazoic coating
Wide range of exposure and development
Surface overcoating to improve contact with film
Excellent dot reproduction and high print quality
Readable with scanners

APPLICATIONS: Sheet offset printing

PERFORMANCE: MEDIUM RUNS

EXPOSURE: Metal-halide U.V. light source.

Reference: 5000 W lamp, 420 nm, at a distance of approx. 110 cm corresponding energy is 0,9 - 1,1 mW/cm2; exposure time of 35 - 55 sec. to achieve dimmed step 4 and broken (damaged) 12 microlines (UGRA wedge 82); developer DIAZODEVELOP AZ-S at a temperature of 21°C,contact time 20 sec.

Note: Owing to possible differences of employed exposure and treatment equipment etc.,mentioned times are to be considered only as an indication in helping the operator.

DEVELOPMENT: Manually by means of a pad, in a tray or in automatic plate processors using normal developers for positive plates duly diluted. Many developers are suitable.

Required development time: 20 sec. approx. at a temperature of 21-23°C.

RETOUCH: Normal positive retouch products are used: CORRETTORE FP and OFFSET PEN

GUMMING: Gumming process is made with usual technical processes:

Manually: OFFSET SINTETIC GUM - Automatically: GOMMAMATIC and TP73

MACHINE PROCESSING: Cleaning and storage of plate: ANTIVELO FISSAGGIO RAPIDO - ACTIVAL -

GOMMA SOLVENTE 93 - PREPARCLEANER -

Damping agents: ECOFOUNT - AQUAVEL 87 and 87/90

AVAILABILITY: all sizes, thickness 0,15 - 0,25 - 0,30 - 0,40 mm

Tolerance: size +/- 1,00 mm; rotary presses: +/- 0,5 mm; thickness +/- 0,020 mm.

STORAGE: 24 months from production date, indicated in the batch number, under normal conditions of temperature and humidity (18-24°C - 40/60%) and in original packings.

WARRANTY: Plates undergo a careful control to ensure a faultless and constant quality. In case of claims, the batch number shown on the label must be indicated.
