TAX PLANNING
We are always happy to advise clients on the best structures for the minimisation of tax and will work with a client's professional advisers if requested. We believe in pro-active planning and in the development of effective strategies prior to commercial events happening. We believe that the payoff to advance planning and prudent anticipation is high and that this is preferable to dealing with tax problems once they have crystallized.

CORPORATE FORMATION & ADMINISTRATION
We are active in the formation of companies both in Germany and other popular EU-countries.
We utilize a network of correspondents throughout the world in the most popular offshore domiciles with whom there is a very close working relationship. In most cases, we are able to act as a nominee director or shareholder as well as being company secretary and can offer the use of Germany as a place of business for the company. We are able to administer companies and to engage in commercial transactions on behalf of clients. Bank accounts may be opened and run either independently or in conjunction with client signatories. If we are
actively managing a company, a standard management agreement must be signed.

TRUSTEE FUNCTIONS
We are able to set up trusts and to act as a trustee, settlor or protector according to client wishes. We will generally choose a domicile other than Germany for trusts and will operate with an established trust company in the chosen jurisdiction. Frequently companies formed by us are owned by trusts or are held by us under trust on behalf of beneficial owners.

PROFESSIONAL ADVISERS
We can provide introduction to and liaison with professional advisers in Germany and in other countries. Lawyers, taxation experts, accountants, insurance experts, investment managers and merchant bankers can be mobilised to handle matters on behalf of clients. We are always happy to give business advice on European markets and to discreetly vet local business partners or agents. Similarly we can introduce suppliers for many products out of Europe.

FEES
Standard fees and fees for other jurisdictions will be provided in the schedules - Summary of Popular Jurisdictions - but these are a guide only and final costs will depend on specific requirements of clients.

Other than standard matters, fees are charged on a time and cost basis with billings made periodically in DEM or USD depending on activity. We are always happy to cooperate with professional intermediaries.
