Resistance against break-ins and bullets - Keeps out heat and noise
In a time when crime involving break-ins increases and in which the use of firearms is a distinct possibility, all building materials designed for the protection of life and property must meet the latest standards.
The JVN security block 1919/10 shs meets following requirements:
A. Glazing of JVN security blocks 1919/10 shs - armored horizontally and vertically- is highly resistant against violence because of the 2 x 26mm thickness of the blocks. Even for burglars using tools penetration will be extremely difficult which is a definite advantage over regular glassblocks with normal thickness (about 2x9mm) and even over the glass blocks with reinforced walls (2 x ca. 18 mm) currently available.
B. Glazing of JVN security blocks 1919/10 shs - armored horizontally and vertically has been developed to posses outstanding security features in ballistic tests:
Shooting with 9 mm calibre, distance 3 meters one hit per block : no perforation
three hits per block : no perforation
Shooting with 357 calibre Magnum, distance 3 meters one hit per block no perforation
Shooting with 44 calibre Magnum, distance 3 meters one hit per block no perforation
As the JVN security block 1919/10 shs passed all three test requirements (certification can be provided) it has been included under the C1 classification in the "Catalogue of tested bullet-resistant materials and construction" which law institutions, public buildings, museums, art galleries, penal institutions, police stations and of course private housing.
C. Glazing with JVN security blocks 1919/10 shs with secure thickness provides very good insulation against heat and thus has its place among today´s energy saving building materials.
D. Glazing with JVN security blocks 1919/10 shs with secure thickness also gives a high degree of sound insulation as well protection against fire.
